Formally known as “Rachel”, she changed her name, her personality and her appearance to the woman she is today: “Jangungo” in order to rid herself of her father’s blood. Throughout her whole life she has been told by her father that she is useless, a disappointment, stupid, ugly, not a proper woman, that he wished she was a man, and that she’s a disgrace who doesn’t even know her own language. She’s been called a failure in every way, and the rest of her family only wants her to keep having contact with the devil that is her father. Doing everything in her power to rid herself of the blood of the man who made her hate herself so much, Jangungo will never rest until she’s free.
